Feasible, Supportable
The goal of this task is to arrive at a unified vision for proposed land uses endorsed by the municipalities within the study corridor. A major component of this task will determine the impact of the road on the economic development in the corridor. Components of this task include:
- An in-depth look at the state of the corridor by analyzing existing plans, land use, base mapping, roadscape and streetscapes, and environment.
- Creating a community vision that includes land use strategies and development concepts, roadway alternatives, economic development analysis and design concepts.
- The development of the Route 120 Plan which includes a preliminary corridor plan.
- A Corridor Plan including an implementation strategy.
- Public involvement component to guide the project through the study process and gain consensus on each of the study goals.
